Overview

Dirty Little Secrets by J.M. Jeffries…

Elle Walker is a desperate woman. When she returns home for her parent’s re-commitment ceremony, she knows they want to find her a man, tailor-made-to-fit into their conservative world. Instead, Elle brings home Merrick Lee; a bearded, grease-under-his-finger-nails-type mechanic.

Merrick Lee is a man of surprisingly hidden talents, an Ivy League graduate and a former Delta Force Commando. When he meets the fascinating and sexy Elle Walker, she makes him an offer he can’t refuse. He’ll be her pretend boy toy for the next two weeks, and Merrick will play along. But only if they are on his terms...

Continental Divide by Dyanne Davis

When Tanya Reed visits her best friend in Pakistan, she has an ulterior motive, to look for a particular type of man. One who’s successful and driven as she is.

Imran’s ideal vision of a wife would include a woman who was sweet and quiet. When the loud mouth, brash American woman arrives, Imran expresses his lack of interest in such a woman.

But as the saying goes, “The heart wants what the heart wants.” And both Tanya and Imran discover that when hearts are involved, they have no control over who they love.

I found each romance had a certain appeal. I enjoyed the INSTANT attraction between Elle and Merrick in J.M. Jeffries, "Dirty Little Secrets". I found myself LOL at the witty dialogue and the HILARIOUS antics of the main and secondary cast of characters. Unfortunately there are too many editing and/or grammatical errors throughout this tale, it became a little annoying at times having to "fill in the corrections". In Dyanne Davis' "Continental Divide" Tanya, the heroine was quite ANNOYING throughout, she did have a few redeemable qualities(very few). And Imran, was definitely a SAINT to put up with all her NONSENSE, I thought he could do better! It was nice to catch up with Heaven and Hamid from "Let's Get It On" (I so enjoyed that story). And there were not as many errors in this story, but someone NEEDS to do a better job with the editing over there at Parker Publishing; they really dropped the ball on this one.
